Rules and Guidelines

The rules and guidelines have been put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the members of the RLSS.GG community. All interactions made over our platform are required to follow these rules, and punishments will be dealt accordingly to those who do not follow them.

For the sake of transparency, you can also view the guidelines outlined for moderators.

1. No racial slurs or discrimination

   Racist, sexist, homophobic, and other forms of discrimination are not allowed under any circumstances. Players found to be acting in such a way outside of the server will also be punished as relevant, especially when occurring between players in the server (such as DMs, Twitch chats, etc.)

2. Avoid political discussion

   Because this is an RL Sideswipe server, please refrain from discussing any political topics. We want to remain inclusive for people of all backgrounds so keep your controversial or hot button opinions to yourself.

3. Keep conversation relevant

   Please try to use the appropriate channels when chatting. This helps to keep the server neat and organised. NSFW content is not allowed under any circumstances.

4. No spamming

   Spamming can include copypastas, basic text, videos, GIFs, etc. Please refrain from doing so. As well as this, while we do allow some mild swearing, excessive use is also not allowed.

5. Only English is allowed in text chats

   While we would love to support a more diverse set of languages, we are unfortunately only able to moderate what we can read. Because of this, we only allow English to be spoken in text chats. Nicknames and voice chats are not included in this rule.

6. Only ping staff if urgent

   Most of the time pinging specific members of staff is not required. If a situation is not super urgent you can create a support ticket which the team will be able to respond to quickly.

7. No breaking Psyonix agreements

   Any behaviour that breaks the game's terms of service is not permitted.

It is expected that members of the RLSS.GG community follow these rules, but more specifically the intent of them. If something is not directly mentioned but is included in the general spirit of the rules, it can also be actioned. Staff members have the right to act as they see fit in unclear scenarios, so please respect their decision. If you believe you have been banned unfairly, you can submit an appeal here.
